Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy Clothing/Accessories:
Blue Satin Gown
This is a #2041 vintage 1956 tagged blue satin side-drape A-line gown for the 20" Cissy doll. The blue in pictures was difficult to capture due to glare from the satin. (It is true blue -- not tending toward violet as some of the photos might suggest.) This gown made of blue satin features a side-drape two-part sash sewn from waist of gown. It is all lined in organdy and has a simple faux rhine...stone circlet at the décolletage. In wonderful condition with no rips, stains, or condition issues. The lining has slight age toning/darkening.

Doll bodies may have minor scuffs or fading/spots to the body, minor loss of hair (wig, lashes), etc., and clothing/accessories may need a touch-up or needle and thread here and there. This is all normal for all vintage Mid-Century dolls; it is to be expected.

[ RETURN POLICY ON DOLL LOTS... ]It is with deep regret that -- after 14 years selling on eBay, and with 100% positive feedback -- I've had to change my return policy on dolls to "NO RETURNS, AND NO PARTIAL REFUNDS."As often happens, it's the few bad apples out there who ruin it for the rest of us. These dishonest people will buy a doll, then try to improve or restore it ... not knowing what they're doing. And then, when they realize they've ruined the doll, they return it saying it was defective. Or else they keep the doll and demand a "partial refund" based on the alleged defect -- which is another trending scam on eBay.I sell these dolls for a living so, my sincere apologies to you -- the honest majority of eBay buyers -- that I can no longer afford to accept doll returns.
