RARE . THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE AND SET IS A MINT BOXED QUALITY CONTROL SET WHICH RC HAD SAVED FOR A GRANDCHILD BUT HE IS RELEASING IT FOR SALE SINCE HE SEEMS TO KEEP HAVING MORE GRANDDAUGHTERS THAN GRANDSONS( Yes another granddaughter arrived late March!!!)...(AND THE GIRLS DON'T SEEM TO CARE ABOUT TOY SOLDIERS!!)
THIS IS OUR one of our 2 DDAY OMAHA BEACH PLAYSETs FROM AROUND 2005. INCLUDES 140+ TROOPS( MIX OF GERMAN AND American GI POSES)( 10 blister cards of GIs o...r approx 100 figures plus 40 approx Germans). Includes the rare 1/30 scale LCM3 landing craft big enough to hold a tank and a platoon, plus three different beach obstacles, some plastic accessories &. 2 DRAGON'S TEETH CONCRETE DEFENSIVE TERRAIN PIECes.....
The blisterdcards sell for $60 and higher EACH on ebay and the LCM3 when available(rarely seen) sells for $250 and up. This is the only one of these playlets which I think we've ever offered on ebay. RC will be happy to sign & personalize the set upon request.
The giant size of this beauty can be judged by looking at the photos The playset box is approx 36 x 22 x 12 and the shipping box will be even larger, All figures are injection molded plastic, The landing craft and beach obstacles and dragons teeth are hand painted resin.
SOME MINOR ASSEMBLY OF A FEW FIGURES IS NECESSARY.

Despite the high quality professional figures which we make, you are dealing with a "Mom & Pop" operation---we are not some huge corporation. The quality of our figures leads people to believe these are the product of some large design and marketing department in a huge company when in fact these are all designed by R Conte. Figures are approx 1/32 scale and are hand painted .Please be patient with us if we don't immediately respond to emails or phone calls. We do our best to make great figures for our fellow collectors & also do our best to provide the best customer service but there are only a few of us and sometimes the volume of phone calls, emails and orders can be a bit overwhelming.
If an item is listed as a 'vault' item, this means that it is a rare quality control set reviewed and approved by Richard Conte which was used as a quality measure or benchmark for the production run of the item. These are rare rare sets .If our description says that the figures are 'loose' this means that they are unboxed.Our metal sets are generally made of fine pewter which is deemed to be 99.9% lead free.
