A very unusual novelty pill or trinket box. It has been made from coins to look like a pile of coins. The top and bottom coins are dated 1862 and 1887, it dates to around this time or a touch later. It is in super condition being freefrom dings splits holes and repairs. It closes tightly. It measures approx. 1.25 inches (3.1cms) across by 0.75 inch (2cms) tall andweighs 44 grams. A beautifully made unusual piece.
