Antique Union Porcelain Round Oyster Plate 1879. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Ship USA ONLYAs found wonderful antique oyster plate pat. Feb 4 '79 R Briggs Boston MA made by Union Porcelain Works NYVibrant colors approx 9 1/4" round nicely moulded oyster wells decor of seaweed and 2 tiny crabs as picturedInside the ring on the base there is some cracking/seperating as shown but when "pinged" with you finger it has a solid ring to it and cracking only appears at the base. Perhaps sep...erated a little from temp change at some point ? Priced accordinglyExcellent display piece or addition to a collectionDarker coloring than most I have seen this being a maroon shade instead of pink with a touch of gold around the edge
