Antique Burke and James Rembrandt Portrait Camera Stand. This is designed to hold a B&J Rembrandt portrait view camera (which are often found here on eBay). This is fully functional, i.e., it tilts up and down. One of the cubbies (which I assume is for storing film holders or other miscellaneous gear) is missing and the castors need another shot or two of WD-40. It's in decent but not perfect condition.
My father acquired this for me back in the early '80s from an engineerin...g firm that adapted it to use as a process camera (along with a B&J 11x14 view camera). He dismantled it and stored it in his basement, but the house has been sold. If I had the room, I'd keep it but we have no place for it.
This is too big and heavy to ship at a reasonable price so the successful buyer will have to pick it up.
