Four Antique Ezra F. Bowman Gravers, Great Condition. 1889 Patent. Condition is "Pre-owned".
These are very early instances of the Bowman gravers as shown in the original patent 399, 641 from John Wundes.
Later versions used brass ferrules and different holders.
Very rare versions will be marked "Bowman X Musser" who were the assignees of the 1889 patent.
These gravers are still very usable with solid handles and sharp graver bits and NO RESTO...RATION attempted.
Metal jam ferrules have beautiful stamped letters and filigree.
Very nice to look at and very comfortable to use.
The graver bits have some surface discoloration but are not pitted or rusty.
