Here is a tagged corselet sold for the Madame Alexander Cissy doll in the late 1950s. It is made of a pale pink Lycra/spandex material and has a very pretty sheen. Lace trim down the front and a rosette at the bustline. Has a flounce of ecru crocheted lace and zips up the back. The zipper pull is not painted pink like the one on another corselet I have with black lace trim. It is silver, and I can't see any evidence of it having been painted. Works w...ell. The stretched elastic straps were professionally replaced with unused vintage elastic just like the original. Off the doll, one strap looks a little shorter than the other. On the doll body, it makes no difference. Can't say if it originally had a tighter fit since I'm not the original owner. It appears to be in very nice vintage condition and comes from a smoke-free home. Being offered to USA MAINLAND BIDDERS ONLY. Cissy body not included. $5.00 USPS first-class shipping.
