This Ginny has straight legs and a hard plastic body. She has beautiful blue sleep eyes that just need a little help opening, painted lashes and rosy cheeks. Her red hair is straight andlong. She’s is really good condition without any rubs. Her left armis a teeny bit loose, but you can still dress her without any problem.
She wearing her favorite dress from the 1954 My Kinder Crowd Series, #24. It’sa... white shadow dot print with red velvet trim on the waist and armholes. Thereare 2 red flowers at her waist. There is also a petticoat with lace trim, red velour type shoes with ribbon ties and matching white bloomers. The ribbon on the shoes needs to be replaced.
In the early 1950s, my best friend's mother worked at the Vogue factory in Medford, MA, about two blocks from my house, where she sewed Ginny doll dresses. She sometimes brought home dresses for us. I loved them all, and played with them and handled them with great care. My doll-playing days are over, and I would love to see these items find a home where they will be appreciated for the link with the past that they are.
