Rare Cast Iron Eriez No. 2 Indianhead Parlor Stove / Heater Erie PA. Cast Iron
Item History & Price
Up for your bidding pleasure is an Antique Eriez Stove and Mfg. Co Erie PA. Rare Queen No. 2 Indianhead Parlor Stove / Heater in great condition especially for its age & use. This great looking parlor stove has a fully relieved in cast iron Indianhead above its bulbous lattice frame cast iron door. The stove is pretty much original with some light surface / flash rust to some of its inside metal areas. From what I can tell there are no repairs to its cast iron or metal parts. It is... missing its fancy cast iron Queen decorative top & bottom apron. It has new isinglass in the door and two new4” round hotplates / trivets on its top that were made for it. The stove was repainted along the way and has some chips / scratches exposing the color white (possibly Enamel or white paint) that is under its black paint. Some people say Eriez Stove Company & Griswold had some connection, but all I could find was they were both made in Erie PA in the early1900’s. I am offering this great piece without a reserve and modest starting bid. It will be sold at the close of the auction and not before…. USA Sales Only…Note; This is an original Gas Parlor Stove / Heater that has not been converted from what I can tell.Stove’s Dimensions: Height 20”, Width16 ½”, Depth9 ¼”, Weight a little over 23 Pounds unboxed If you are planning to use the stove I would have it checked out first. I am basically selling it as a collectable piece of Cast Iron from Erie PA. & not to be used for heating.
