Rare 1993 Butthole Surfers XL Tour Shirt - True Vintage - Original Owner
I purchased this shirt at the Cincinnati stop of the 1993 tour in support of their Independent Worm Saloon album. The Butthole Surfers were the headliner, they were supported by Flaming Lips and Stone Temple Pilots. The show was outdoors at a dirt racing track and they had camping on site so it was a wild scene!
The shirt is in used condition with visible signs of wear that I've tried to capture in the photo...s. The biggest flaws are some paint stains on the front (I was an art student then), a hem that is partially undone, and holes around some of the screen printed areas.
I'm selling another earlier Butthole Surfers shirt right now and will be listing more 1980s-90s punk and skate shirts this week. These shirts have been hanging in a climate controlled closet at my house for decades. Check out my other auctions!
