Vintage 1970s Gunne Sax velvet corset bodice prairie midi dress in contrasting calico and plaid prints. Teal blue color with dusty rose, green and white florals and plaid flounce at hem in the same colorway. Deep cerulean blue velvet lace-up corset bodice patchworked with calico fabric and additional nylon lace and satin ribbon accent trims. Hidden side seam pockets. Midi-length sweeping tiered skirt trimmed with lace and ribbons between the rows and 2" lace at the hem. High basque wa...istline with attached side ties. Long full sleeves with fitted button cuffs. Back zipper closure. Unlined. Excellent vintage condition with light signs of use and slight fading for normal wear. Freshly hand-washed and ready to go. Sadly, the tags have been removed by a previous owner. Dress is guaranteed to be a genuine Gunne Sax by Jessica. Some of the stitching that attached the label remains along the interior facing material at the back of the dress. Wamsutta Mills, one of the exclusive producers of cloth for Gunne Sax, is printed on the selvedge of the plaid fabric.No size tag, but appears to fit closest to a modern misses size 10 to 12.
