Funlittle set of antique Old Maid cards, entertaining caricature images. Thesehave a late Victorian feel to me. There are 35 cards and no box. There’s oneOld Maid card (should be just one) and 17 numbered pairs (#2 through #18) ofother cards, not sure if there were supposed to be 8 other pairs if there wassupposed to be a regular full size card deck (51 for Old Maid). I’ve seen oneother set with the same images that only went up to #18 (Kitty Sly), thoughthat deck had other cards m...issing and may have been missing numbers past #18. Eachcard is about 2 1/2 in. x 3 ½ in. The cards are in fair condition; colors aregreat but all have creasing and/or staining (the degree varies). Nice bit ofcard game history.
