This is a large (12 5/8" tall X 10 1/2" wide and 4 1/4" thick, weighs 13lbs.) Catholic Douay Rheims family Holy Bible with leather covers and nickel plated brass clasps. Tooled leather covers. Blank family pages (Certificate of Holy Matrimony, Marriages, Births, Deaths and Memoranda) so you can record your own family history. Very beautiful Bible. No publication date, 1885 era. Enormous amount of information..Catholic Bible Dictionary, History of th...e Books of the Holy Catholic Bible, Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary and more. Hinges are strong, covers open and close easily (front hinge has a 3" surface crack at the bottom, it has been reinforced with bookbinders tape on the inside and is as strong as new).
