Rare attractive Crown 4 tube hybrid portable radio is late 1950's Japan era. Stamped on the rear Made in Japan. Glossy turquoise cabinet is in shiny thick plastic with a reverse painted dial. Very decent brass nameplate and working pop up handle. Cabinet is in very good condition no chips, cracks or dings. There's some wear on the inside back cover edge. Very clean inside, all paper labels intact, one tube missing and corrosion-free battery compartment.&nb...sp;Never tested as it needs high voltage batteries. Unique feature is a small light bulb, inside lower right corner, which can be screwed into side of the case as flashlight. Measures 6-1/2" w x 4-1/4" h x 2" deep, weighs 1.10 lbs. Don't let this one pass you by, it rarely come up for sale. A terrific find for the collector.
