This listing is for a vintage English Staffordshire Liberty Blue Historic Colonial Scenes set of 8 salad plates in the 'Washington Leaving Christ Church' pattern. The plates measure 7 inches in diameter. They have a blue transfer design on a white ground with a large floral border around the outside edge and at the center is an outside landscape with George Washington at the center. The backs are marked "LIBERTY BLUE ORIGINAL COPPER ENGRAVINGS OF HISTORIC COLONIAL SCENES PRINTED ON ST...AFFORDSHIRE IRONSTONE DETERGENT AND DISHWASHER SAFE MADE IN ENGLAND WASHINGTON LEAVING CHRIST CHURCH".
