Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Vogue Jlry, Vintage, Late 1930's - Pair - 2.5" Figural Enamel Napoleon and Josephine Brooches. 47.0 Grams - EXTREMELY RARE - EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION! - NO RESERVE! These gay and whimsical brooches dates from the late 1930's, about 1938/1939, made by 'Vogue Jlry' fashioned as a pair of figural 2.5" full figural brooches of Napoleon and Josephine done in gold washed sterling silver accented with red and gold enamel details.... The brooches are solid and heavy with a combined silver weight of 47.0 grams.
The brooches are in excellent vintage vintage condition showing only normal use, there is a small loss to the enamel details, this is minor, does not detract and can easily be restored.
The brooches are marked on the back, Vogue Jlry and Sterling on small gold squares.
