The Bru-ell spearing decoy name stems from the original makers- Bruce and Helen Wakefield of Watkins, Minnesota. According to the company website, a tree fell on Bruce and he could no longer complete the chores on his mink and cattle farm. Bruce decided to start making fish decoys and had a good deal of success. Crafted from very basic components, A Bru-ell Decoy is a masterpiece at the intersection of design and folk art.This decoy is in the traditional red and white color, best for l...uring fish to bite.
