This is a very rare Tissot "SYTAL", meaning SYnthetic Tissot Auto Lubrication. The plastic movement is also known as "Astrolon" It was developed by Tissot in the late 60s and was only sold in small numbers in the early 70s on the Italian market. The development of the inexpensive Quartz watch put to death the space in the market for this product.In 1975 almost the entire stock of 500.000 pieces of these watches were incinerated in Italy, therefore making this watch a very rare collecto...rs piece.
