Here is a very cool and rare Tissot Research IDEA 2001 Also named Synthethic or Astrolon from the early 1970s.
The Tissot Synthetic is the result of more than 20 years of research from Tissot to create a full plastic watch. Way before the Swatch, the Synthetic was a revolution of its time. The case is made of dark red transparent plastic. The dial is transparent allowing to see the movement. Gold outer ring with the numbers. Signed strap buckle. Signed crown.
Original... olive strap attached with transparent plastic screws. The strap is quite used but it's possible to adapt leather or Nato straps with the screws system.
The watch is in overall good original condition but it does has signs of use.
The movement, Tissot 2250 / 602 "Autolub" is almost entirely made of self lubricated plastic. It was originally designed to never need service. It is running and seems to keep time (around a minute of error per day).
The case measures 38mm without crown, 45mm lug to lug, 12mm thick._________________________

Time accuracy of vintage mechanical watches cannot be guaranteed as perfect and long lasting. I describe the watch as I see it. I will mention if the accuracy is too wrong for the watch to be worn as sold, or if it isn't working. I usually don't know the service history of the watch and would advise to have it serviced in order to keep it running for a long time. The water resistance is not tested.
Shipping is done by priority mail (Swiss Post) with tracking number. I will ship to the shipping address sent with the Paypal payment. If you want to buy several watches, please let me know before paying so I can adjust the shipping cost. Metal bracelets can be open for shipping.
