A lovely Art Deco silver and guilloche enamel topped jar. The lid of good heavy gauge silver and fully hallmarked LONDON 1929. By the makers J. & Co Ltd. The lid interior heavily gilded and a sign of quality. The eye catching elegant blue enamel top had a geometric guilloche design, and is perfect in every way. The faceted glass body is free from cracks or chips. However there was a small chip to the rim, beneath the silver lid and totally unseen. This has been professionally groun...d out and only a slight dip in the rim remains. A most handsome item to add to any Art Deco collection or bijouterie collection of objet d’art.Diameter:- 8 cm x 5.2 cm. Height:- 10 cm.
