An antique English Whitby jet mourning locket, with faceted decoration, hand carved with an 'AEI' monogram (Amity, Eternity, Infinity) and hinging opening to reveal space for photographs or other slim mementos. Typically dramatic, very collectible & so wearable!CONDITION: Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Some scratching visible, nothing serious. One glass missing to inner, easily sou...rced.DATE/MARKS: Around 1880. Not marked.DIMENSIONS: 56 x 36 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm).
