Available is a beautiful Minolta Super 8 Movie Camera.The camera has been film tested and all features work.It is nice and compact and has a folding handgrip.It has a quality built multi-coated lens that producesexcellent looking footage.This Minolta has a very fast and sharp f/1.2 ZoomLens.The camera body is in nice shape. The lens is clean and clear with no scratches, nicks or haze....The camera has some great features, including.....Speeds of 18fps (normal filming speed)and 1 (For single frame stop-motion animation)Built-In Intervalometer for time lapse filming of clouds, sunsets, buildingconstruction, flowers, traffic patterns etc.Macro Capability-For filming close ups of coins, text messages and other smallobjects.Auto or Manual Zoom ControlAuto or Manual Exposure Control4 To 1 Zoom RangeXL Shutter-for low light filmingFootage CounterFoldable Hand Grip for compactness & tripod mountingBattery Check IndicatorThe camera runs on just 2 AA batteries (not included). A word on the time lapse feature....many Super-8 cameras have asingle frame feature, which is not the same as an intervalometer. Cameras withonly single frame are not well suited for time lapse, (animation yes-time lapseno). This is because, when doing time lapse, you would have to manually take anexposure every time you wanted to expose a frame of film...so to obtain about 4seconds of finished screen time, you would have to sit by the camera and takean exposure once every minute for an hour. Boring! This Minolta allows you toset it up (on a tripod or wherever) set the frequency of your exposures andwalk away. The camera will do the rest until you run out of film or stop thecamera. If you're looking for a great Super 8 camera with nicefeatures for yourself or an aspiring film student....don't let this passyou by.
