Original Description:
From a local estate, here is a solid antique German bible, circa 1748. I don't read German so you can look at the title page for publisher information, this is a complete bible with both old and new testaments and a separate Apocrypha section. Book is about 4.5" X 6.75" with 1260+ pages, including MANY illustrations. Leather spine with cloth boards.

Looks solid to me, plenty of age and wear, tanning and a little foxing, in good condition for 250+ years old. There are an incredib...le amount of illustrations, including one section from Luke that is loose from the book.

This one seems in remarkably good condition, hope it fits your library.
