This is a very old cigarette lighter, and it is in excellent condition.
When the button on the side is pressed the lid vigorously pops open. I'm not sure if the flint wheel turns, the lighter may need some adjustment if you want to light a cigarette.
The little button on the side can be screwed in to lock the mechanism closed.
