Listed is an Akai GX-635d. The deck is in a okay condition, with several missing cosmetic parts. At the time of listing this, there is a seller on ebay who has most of the parts needed to complete it.
The deck is mostly working, as there are no mechanical issues that are immediately detectable. The capstan and reel motors work well. The only (noticable) issue is to do with the transistors inside which have failed; a common issue with this model. This is likely a straight forward fix...; but i have too many other projects.
There is a rather shady SD card that is included in this sale, with the exact details required to fix this; or so said the original seller. The person I bought this from was something of a equipment horder and made bizarre Frankensteine like contraptions from vintage equipment. This is likely the reason for the missing cosmetic items as well.
