This is an RCA Stereo Reel to Reel Tape Recorder Player model number YJG42E that was produced in Japan in the late 1960s. I've used plain tapes and pre-recorded tapes to Play and Record, and it works at all 3 speeds on both channels. There are 2 built in speakers, on left and right side of the unit. Also external speaker jacks for channel 1 and channel 2, left and right respectively. This sizable unit stands 17 inches tall by 18-1/2 inches wide by 8 inches... deep.

I did not open it up, check wires etc. so I don't know the cause, but do know work is required there to make it work properly.Cosmetically it's quite good with an original label and properly working lift off latching door.Please review this entire description and all images before ordering.
