Antique Victorian Moonstone Ring - 18 Ct Gold - 18 Karat 22mm

A beautiful old moonstone ring prong set in 18 karat gold with a somewhat large size. The diameter is about 22mm internally, please see photo with ruler. The ring is stamped 18 C on the inside. There are no cracks or damage to the stone that I can see. There is a little black staining on the inside which may be an artifact of the soldering process used to complete the ring. A little unusual to find these in 18 karat.
