Dating to around the time Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutenkhamun and measuring 2.5" long and still in its jewellers' fitted presentation box, 3" x 1.5", this is a French silver and enamel tooth pick holder, in the form of an Egyptian pharaoh's sarcophagus. There is a tiny silver mark on the ring lug. Apart from a small chip to the mother of pearl insert on its base (see photos) ...it is in excellent condition.
