Vintage 1940 ' S Vogue Toddles Sailor Doll, Tagged/All, " Vintage NIB " EC

For Auction.....From our family doll collectors we have for our consideration this darling little vintage early 1940's pre-Ginny Sailor doll. "Vintage NIB, " he has been stored away in this old family home for many years and is in excellent condition. There is some ultra-fine crazing on his face, and there is overall age discoloration of white fabrics.
This little sailor's composition body is jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. He has blonde mohai...r hair, blue painted eyes, and perfect facial coloring. His eyes glance to his right.
On the nape of his neck...VOGUE
On his back...DOLL CO.
Our sailor's uniform consists of matching navy linen pants and navy linen jacket with dark navy "tie, " white knit socks and black shoes, and a gored white linen sailor's cap. The jacket closes at the front neck with one small snap. The pants have a drawstring closure waist with white drawstring.
On is right pants leg is the round gold Vogue sticker.
On the box label...Vogue 7" DOUBLE-SPRAY SAILOR BLONDE
