For sale is this vintage Berg Larsen 105/2 M tenor mouthpiece. This mouthpiece is a rare, early-vintage Berg: a "scoop bill" model with a "fat body" and "offset M" in a .105" tip opening. It's in excellent original condition and plays great: big Berg sound with a booming low end and lots of power up high, but it's also capable of a sultry and sexy vintage Coleman Hawkins / Ben Webster tenor sound.
The tip and baffle area look great, rails are even, and table is flat - easily passes ...the "pop" test. There are some light ligature scratches on the top of the piece and a few spots of oxidation on table (see pics). No teeth marks - the biteplate is in very good condition.
Comes with its original "T" ligature (a $100 value), but no cap.
This is a great really vintage Berg for the collector or player.
