Marked on the knife: The ...REMINGTON - RH28 is 4 1/4" x 8 1/4" - REMINGTON UMC - MADE IN U.S.A. - This premium quality gorgeous Old REMINGTON UMC - Knife has a blade pattern that was used extensively as a fighting knife in WWII and also makes an excellent hunting knife. It has a tight stacked GUTTA-PERCHA handle grip phenolic hard material and the Bowie style clip point carbon steel blade. This Old Knife is still in excellent condition and appears used, showing sharpening and what are handling marks and inspection wear with never any rust, with some usage sharpening marks. The ORIGINAL Scabbard Sheath condition has seen usage & shows handling wear. The embossed circle on the sheath has faded over the past 80 some years. (see the pictures) Please look at all pictures for details. This knife measures 8 1/4" approx and the sheath measures overall 9” inches. Maybe someone out there knows exactly how to complete the restoration on this REMINGTON - RH28 UMC Knife. I am going to leave it up to all of you who know about knives. Good luck bidding!
