This draw-leaf teak dining table, model #50 designed in 1959, is inspired by Hans Wegner's AT-312 table for Andreas Tuck. Instead of the usual straight skirting which would end at the corner legs, #50 incorporates cantilevered skirt extensions and curved profiles near the legs to create the signature design feature for the table. Even the bottom edge of the nested leaves have a subtle taper to reduce the overall end thickness and create a more streamlined appearance. In it's closed state, the table seat 4-6. When needed, draw leafs can be pulled out on end each to accommodate 8-10 people. The legs and skirting are made of solid teak, with the table top and leaves in teak veneer with solid teak edge trim.
The table is in excellent condition, both structurally and finish. It has been recently cleaned and oiled to highlight the warm patina that has developed over the years. There are the usual marks, nicks, and scratches that is to be expected on vintage furniture that has been actively used during its lifetime.
Dimensions are 53" long by 35" wide by 28.5" tall, which expands to 92.5" long with the leaves extended. There are no makers marks on the table.
