Vintage Selmer Paris Mark VI Alto Saxophone with original case. Condition used. This horn was manufactured in 1965. I have owned it since 1968. It was re-lacquered before I bought it so the engraving on the bell isn't completely visible. The appraised value is $3, 500 by by reputable national retail music store (would be more if it was the original finish). It has new cork on the neck and I replaced the pads that needed to be a couple of years ago when I s...tarted playing it in a community band. Unfortunately, my fingers just don't move fast enough anymore to play alto so I switched to tenor sax. The case includes a compartment for a B-flat clarinet. It very sturdy but shows signs of wear over the years. The new owner might want to upgrade it to one that this horn deserves. It has beautiful tone quality that Mark VI's are known for and she needs someone now to make her sing again. Send message with any questions.
