One portion translates to 'Solomon Spirit' - not sure what the rest translates to*There appears to be a FACE or a head inside of the box. I am not certain what it is made out of. Chancey told me that it is a self manifestation of the spirit inside. Some sort of self-induced 'illusion' of our own senses. Chancey Jones, before his passing away, was a collector of seriously possessed items. He was not only a close friend but also a colleague of my paranormal adventures. In fact, he is the person who taught me everything I know about what lyes beyond our veil of perception. As a token of respect, he gave me my first Spirit box, back when we used to frequent abandoned insane asylums and historically old churches. He considered me as his 'protege' and even taught me highly secretive occult rituals and the 'real' meanings of common ancient symbolism. I respect him highly! I once witnessed him extract a demon out of a goat and transfer the spirit into a chicken egg. The chicken egg cracked and was full of pure blood thereafter. That has been thirteen years ago now and sadly, just last winter, Chancey Jones passed on into the land of perpetual twilight. He travels the plains of the dead and I'm almost certain that he sends me 'messages'. Sometimes when I walk I end up getting off step and then I see a shadow like someone is walking with me and before you know it I end up stumbling upon something fascinating and Chancey always comes to my mind when doing so. I feel his energy all around me in these moments. I had no idea that he had put me in his will, until I received a letter, months after his death. The letter was even postmarked a whole month before I actually received it in the mail.
It’s like it got lost on purpose and came to my attention when I needed to be uplifted.
Then, a large crate came to my door, full of his most self-esteemed paranormal items..some of which he never ever showed anyone; myself included. Some items that I will keep as secret as he did, even to me. The outside world just isn't ready for all of the mysteries.* After pulling the items out, I recognized one item immediately! He passed on to me his 'Spirit of Solomon' Dybbuk! This box was his most displayed and prized item. He considered it a 'conversational' piece to those whom he considered 'ignorant' of the true applications of the occult. He told me that he recovered this box from a damaged crate of wet cinnamon, that he scored from wreckage, back when he was a merchant marine. The smell of cinnamon would enchant him and his creativity would heighten to a new level! He used to light a big fat stinky cigar and hold this box in his lap, when he would recall his stories of seafaring in the Indian Ocean. His maritime tales consisted of evading Indian Pirates, UFO sightings and even a meteor strike near Singapore. But this box was always the focal point on all of his merry ship adventures. Chancey claims that the spirit of King Solomon himself is inside this Dybbuk. The writing on the box is in Hebrew and one portion even translates to 'Solomon Spirit'. I don't recall what the rest of it translates to. He says this box saved his life. It woke him up one night by 'talking' to him. He was wrestling in bed tossing back and forth with his hands under his pillow when all of a sudden he heard his name like an echo over and over again. He rose up out of bed and heard from afar, yet near to a place he couldn’t pinpoint and heard the face inside tell him that he needed to 'call all hands on deck!' Once Chancey reached the deck of the ship, he noticed an Indian Pirate ship only a half nautical mile away. The pirates were in 'quiet mode' and would have probably slit everyone's throats on board, if this Dybbuk box hadn't woke him up and alerted him to the danger!! Chancey also claimed that the box spoke with him for many years after that. It told him alarming things about the History of Israel, it's true location and also of undisclosed locations that aren't even on modern maps! We once did a seance session with the box and I saw the face forming expressions and trying to speak. It wiggled inside and reminded me of a Jim Henson movie! But this is not a muppet. This is a serious paranormal anomaly. A Dybbuk box of an unknown age, unknown origins and an unknown destination. Chancey believed that this box found him and not the other way around. Now, this 'Spirit of Solomon' has found me but it has told me to keep him 'travelling on'. I think destiny will play a major part in where this box ends up next! I am passing this box on, as it so requests and I hope that the next person listens very carefully to what the spirit has in store for them!
