Description of item for sale:This brass clock dates is from Europe and dates to the late 1900's.  The clockworks are from the highly regarded clockmaker Franz Hermle & Sons in Germany.  The detailed brass case has a very nice light bronze patina.  Note that the hinge on the glass is broken but glass stays on the clock firmly.  Also, one of the screws is missing on the back plate on the clock.  However, that too stays in place firmly with only one screw (see photo).&n...bsp; The 8-day time and strike clockworks run as they should and keep good time.  The clock chimes once on the half hour and at the hour it tolls out the hours on a very pleasant sounding double bell.  Dimensions: 18.5" tall, 9" wide and 5" deep.  (4706 B)   Professional Shipping Services: We use top quality packing materials-new boxes and new or clean recycled Styrofoam peanuts and bubble wrap.  We pack and ship promptly.  We fully disclose shipping costs-we may not always be the cheapest, but you can count on your valuable purchase arriving quickly and undamaged. We welcome Local Inspections and Pickups: If you live in the area, you're welcome to come by to check out items we're auctioning and to pick up your purchases with no shipping or pickup charges.
