An original World War Two letter including the cover written by Liuetenant Earl Cox. I previously listed a letter which he sent from a German prisoner of war camp. It is dated May 21, 1945. Some of the writing is hard to read in one area it looks like he says, ........I am so glad to get out of that hell they named Germany. Every cold blooded.....that you have heard is true, an I can tell you a lot more about those criminals when I s...ee you. Our camp was pretty lucky, as we got by in fair shape, just losing about 30 lbs per man but a lot of other camps caught hell. I am as fat an healthy as ever an completely over it now. As we have been out of their dirty hands for three weeks today............We were liberated on the 30th of April by the Russians, as they gave us all the cattls, pigs, flower, an freedom we wanted, untill we were flown out on the 13th by eight Aifrforce B-17s........................... The letter has some wear and stain marks, the cover has wear and stain marks and pieces missing. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Thank you for looking.
