This listing is for a hard to find Madame Alexander LISSY outfit that is just gorgeous! I've seen it on a website that called it 1957 "Sunday Best", but also appeared in the 1970's P. Smith MA Collector's Dolls book as a 1958 boxed extra. No matter, it is hard to find and in PINK! The couple of places I've seen it online has only shown it in yellow or an off-white. The outfit is a tagged "Lissy" pink organdy dress with white lace trim, three button closure in the back, and ...flower trim at the waist. The organdy is a beautiful pink color and has no holes or stains and the lace is nice and white. There is one small place near the bottom hemline in the front that looks like the organdy is a little weak, but no hole is not seen when on a doll. Underneath the dress is an excellent condition pink taffeta slip with lace trim and great waist elastic. The matching hat is just precious in an unusual design that includes lace trim and a bow at the back. The chin elastic still has good stretch to fit on the head nicely. Finally there are excellent condition, stretchy elastic pink shoes! My Lissy is just modeling and not included, but she shows you how gorgeous this outfit is on a doll.
