For your consideration today is this very neat looking Vintage clock that was made in Germany by the Emil Schmeckenbecher Clock Company, with the clock having a two hammer chime sound, plus includes the original, heavy weights and the pendulum. Clock face has mild smudges on bottom of clock face. See pictures.This clock has a lot of fine features and parts, and appears to be in pretty fine shape overall with no bad cracks or large damaged areas. The item is clearly marked on the front ...and back with Germany, then on the back of the brass movement it is marked with the name of Emil Schmeckenbecher Germany, then has a series of numbers 107/377 12, so really not sure what that stands for. Might be the Date?he face of the clock has all the Roman Numerals but some are lined up in a fashion w the numbers such as 5, 6, 7 and 8, are in the upside down style which is pretty normal for some German clocks. Clock has been tested for over a week. Clock runs and chimes on time. Chime two rods on the half, and on the hour it will chime twice the amount of the hour it is on. Very nice clock. I believe based on the numbers clock is from 1977. Front face measures 11" X 11". Each weight weigh 3 pounds. Will list many other very RARE, and nice clocks. It will be over several weeks.
