Vintage Orvis Bamboo Fly Rod 3 piece 9 ft. circa. 1948. A very nice original Orvis bamboo rod. Three piece nine foot rod with a spare tip. All pieces in very good condition and all marked with the number 8050. Tube sock is in terrible condition and I don't think the tube is original as their are no markings. The rod itself is in wonderful condition. According to the Reynolds data base this rod was produced on 9/16/48, a manchester impregnated with 19/64 an...d 13/64 ferrules, made by Robert Albridge.
