This frame is free standing or wall hung, I will include a hanging kit with it offering a number of hanging options.None of the arrowheads in t...he frame have been damaged or altered when mounted and they could, if desired be removed.This high quality, sturdy frame looks great wall mounted, on a desk or mixed in with books in a book case.Included with your package will be a single loose Neolithic arrowhead (see pictures to see which one will be sent) so you may experience handling one of these items.
I will include with this item a seven page A4 printout containing a basic Neolithic arrowhead 'type-guide' and other general information, see item pictures for details. Any questions please ask and I will do my best to answer quickly and correctly. An ideal item for anyone who has an interest in the past and would make an excellent, unusual and historical gift.
The Neolithic period was the latter part of the Stone-Age and even over-laps with the Bronze age in certain regions. It began when man ceased the nomadic way of life and started settling in agricultural communities. As well as hunting, they started keeping livestock and growing crops in annual cycles. It lasted until the first metal tools were introduced 4-5000 years ago with the Iron and Bronze Ages.
The Neolithic period provides a plethora of collectible pieces, each unique and hand-crafted thousands of years ago. To hold a Neolithic arrowhead knowing it was used in the basic, everyday survival of our earliest ancestors is a wonderful experience. Saharan Neolithic Arrowheads show an incredible variety of styles and were used in almost all areas of life at that time.
I have personally handled over 50, 000 of these arrowheads or 'flints' during my collecting over the last 20 years. All of my items are authentic, I do not sell fakes or reproductions, this is as important to me as it is to you. If any of my sales are ever proven to be anything other than stated and genuine I will refund in full.
