On 11-Aug-19 at 21:40:06 BST, seller added the following information:Thank you for looking at this auction for a wonderful pretty hand-embroidered picture of a crinoline lady. This is a well-known design from the 1930s and the reverse is dated July 1937- the pattern was as popular back then as it is today
This particular embroidery is impeccably executed - particularly the stitching on the dress and the detail on her bonnet. It is quite amazing how neat the stitching is. This has been completed on off white linen and shows the criminal lady picking flowers in her garden
there are some marks and wear to the edges of the frame this measures 10 inches by 12 inches to the outside of the frame
This will be packed very carefully though it's not possible to insure glass being posted abroad
