Very attractive vintage Warburton Franki VARIAC Autotransformer or variable transformer, in perfect working condition. Nice super-duper over-sized control knob. All metal body, military grey hammer finish paint job, portable 12 kg unit with handle, ON/OFF switch, reset fail-safe, input sealed - plug in, output sealed - plug in, Manufactured by Warburton Franki, Australia. Has been used with my high end audio.
Input -     240V 50HzOutput -  0 - 280V. 8 AMPSMAX. KV...A. unknown - upwards of 1KVA at least.

Solid 12 kg unit / 300mm high x 230mm wide x 170mm deep.
