History: IDEAL’S Patti Playpal was first introduced in 1959 and she started the era of large “Companion” dolls. She is the size of a 3 year old and easily wears a toddler's clothes. The IDEAL Patti Playpal is 35 inches tall. This Patti Playpal is in good vintage condition, but has been a child's playmate. Her body is clean, but does have surface scratches and one foot's toes have puppy bite marks as seen in photo. She has red shoulder length hair. Her hair... has been washed and curled. Her elastic cords are a little loose, but she can be easily positioned. She also has a secure, large doll stand. She is marked Ideal G35.Her eyes are green-hazel in color and her eyelashes are intact. Her cheek color is good with one side showing a rub. Her dress is a custom dress with an underskirt slip and matching pantaloons and pinafore made by Monica Rasmussen. The dress is tagged. Patti also has shoes, tights, and panties, plus a modern ballerina tutu and a vintage summer frock.I’ve done my best to accurately describe her, please ask questions of I’ve overlooked something.
