This "Sanderson" "Regular Model" camera was produced by "Houghton-Butcher Ltd.".There are no splits to the black leather tapered bellows and they have retained a good colour with only a little fading to the corners and creases. The camera retracts and extends smoothly. The brass fittings have retained much of their original lacquering, however, there is some tarnishing in places, mainly, to the extending bed.The camera is fitted with a "Compur" shutter, this appears to work, the lens ...is a "Voigtlander Anastigmat Skoper, 1:4.5, F=11, 4cm, No.489264 ". The glass elements appear to be free from cracks or chips.The mahogany body is leather covered, and I can't find any major splits or tears to this, just the usual scuffs, marks and scratches you would expect from a well used item of this age.The mahogany has developed a lovely depth of colour and patina over the years. The catches to the top work well. The back of the camera opens out fine and the leather sides are intact. The ivorine plaque on the side of the bed has a missing piece to one corner.There are no cracks or chips to the ground glass plate, this measures 3 3/4 inches by 5 inches.
