A beautiful antique 18th or 19th century Qing dynasty small Chinese Canton export porcelain teapot decorated in the Famille Rose enameled design. It is a finely hand painted piece featuring some raised relief decoration either side of the handle. The handle itself has a twisted design. The teapot is in perfect condition, with no damage other than the loss of some of the gilding. There are some corresponding makers marks in dark red/brown on the insid...e of the lid and rim, as shown in the photos. A wonderful display piece for any collection.
