From France a beautiful hand embroidered homespun linen night/dressing gown. Charming hand sewn monogram AG.
Beautifully hand sewn scalloped neckline with wonderful attention to detail. Lovely scallop detail around neckline two buttons on each shoulder.
Hand stitched with machine top-stitching on side seams. A line shape with insets.
Medium weight, wonderful floppy hand. Lovely as a dress, I have many that I adore wearing around the hous...e as they are so comfy! Dating 1910-20.
Would also be great for re-purposing for many creative projects as the linen itself is gorgeous and the stitching and embroidery are just lovely!!!!
In good condition for age and use. A few areas with marks just slightly darker than the linen. One area with rust mark and fraying at bottom front. Please see photos for additional detail.
