Gorgeous and amazing vintage 1960s Afghan coat. It is an eye-catching and rare 60s/70s item!!!!
But the condition is well used vintage, so do not expect new, it is from the 60s and does have wear.. It is missing its bottom sheep fur trim, and would be great little project for anyone who can sew. I reckon you could either replace the sheep fur or just hem the bottom. I need to say also there are some small tears on the bottom back, I have photo'd the damage. T...hese coats were handmade in the 60s and always were a bit shabby even back in the day. So do not buy if you only like new, this coat has wear and tear including some loose threads, it also has marks, and probably would benefit from a dry clean. But I actually love it as it is and feel many would be very happy wearing it as it is too, it is shabby but authentic. I hope this can go to someone who will bring it back to life and love it again!
Rough size, small?, I think it should fit a uk 10?? Approximate measurements -bust, measured from pit to pit, roughly 18 inches // length 36.5inches // Arm, pit to end of fur, 18.5 inches // back shoulder seam to seam 16.5 ish inches.
