Original Description:
  Up for sale is a vintage 1920's flute marked Carl Fischer. Fischer sold flutes that were made from them by both Bettoney and Rittershausen. Since it is marked Made in USA, I believe it to be Bettoney of Boston. It is in the style of a classic Haynes. A=440. It's really 440, not the lower or higher that were in use at the time of manufacture.  Plays some notes but needs new pads. Overall length is 25 7/8". Sounding length is 23 7/16".  I am always happy to acc...ept returns if an item is not as described. I ask that you please study the photos and contact me with any questions.
