A Gorgeous Bronze Gilt Ormolu LION on a cut glass base.....the casting appears good as the images best illustrate. The piece may possibly be a Desk Paperweight? it has a French Empire Period look about the item. The bronze figure is in lovely condition, but there are a few chips and nibbles to the glass base. Overall it's quite a weighty piece and the postage costing reflects this.
""Approximate""  Size of Lion: 2.7 Inches In Length x 1.1 Inches In Width - quite visua...l. The Glass base measures: 6 Inches x 3.2 Inches x 1.2 Inches.
Condition: the quality Bronze figure Appears In Very Good order. Just The Usual Evidence Of Wear Commensurate With A Piece Of meritable Antique Age. There are a few nibbles and chips to the surround corners as er images No.6 - 7 & No.8. The Figure Needs to be re-adhered to base as the cork plug originally used to firm the figure in-situ has not perished
