Original Description:
We took this C18th Century piece to a visiting auction show who visited our town a few years ago. The figure was described by the valuers as being in all probability french or northers Italian in manufacture, in the manner of the putti type figures which appears at the Palace of Versailles. The piece if gilded bronze and in all probability a piece taken from a larger group of figural images of allegorical association. Appears to be in original condition.....as the Norm PLEASE APPRAISE ...THE IMAGES PROVIDED BEFORE BIDDING.....the item is weighty so please not postage costing. 
""Approximate""  size of putti along not inclusing base or lamp extension - Size: 6.75 Inches.
Condition: Appears In Very Good order. Just The Usual Evidence Of Wear Commensurate With An Item of meritable Age, having Experiencing Careful and little Prior Usage. at some point during the early 1900s The figure has been converted for electrical lamp use. If is be desired for it to return to this usage, it will need rewiring.
